VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Frankfort Regional is fortunate to have an active volunteer department through the American Red Cross chapter in Frankfort.  Adult volunteers staff the following three major areas of the hospital:

Front Lobby
The front lobby desk is staffed in two shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Duties include providing information to visitors, giving directions, handing patient mail and flowers. 

Surgery Center
The Surgery Center is staffed in two shifts from 8 a.m. to noon and noon to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Duties include greeting and guiding patients and families, escorting patients and families, and running general errands.

Emergency Room
The Emergency Room is staffed in two shifts from 8:00 a.m. to noon and noon to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The Emergency Room volunteer provides assistance to staff.
